Petsnpaws is a members' club. Members buy pet medication, supplements and grooming at exactly what our wholesaler charges us. We don't make money on the products. We make it on the membership.

The maths

How we work out your price.

Your price is what we pay the wholesaler, plus VAT. That's the whole calculation, and it's the same one on your invoice.

You pay by EFT. We email our banking details and a payment reference, and activate your membership as soon as the funds reflect.

The route

From cart to courier.

There's no card machine anywhere in this process, and that helps keep prices at cost.

  1. Browse & add to cart

    Prices are public. Members check out; everyone else can window-shop.

  2. We send your invoice

    We receive your order and send you an invoice showing cost plus VAT, line by line.

  3. Pay by EFT

    You pay by EFT, so there are no card fees built into the price.

  4. We pack & book

    We weigh and box your order, and the courier is booked the day your payment reflects.

  5. Couriered to your door

    Delivered by SkyNet and The Courier Guy, nationwide.

Delivery

Delivered to your door.

  • We deliver within South Africa only by SkyNet and The Courier Guy
  • Orders confirmed within one business day delivery usually takes 2 to 5 business days from confirmation, depending on your address
  • Delivery is calculated at checkout and shown in rand before you pay; nothing is added afterwards. Expect roughly R60 to R200 depending on location and speed.
  • Tracking you receive confirmation when your order is dispatched, with tracking details where the courier provides them
  • If nobody is home the courier leaves contact details; an undelivered order comes back to us and we arrange redelivery, which may carry a further charge

Straight talk

What we don't do.

We keep the shelves simple. Here is what you won't find.

No pet food

Couriering 12 kg bags would eat your savings.

Food is heavy and cheap per kilo, so the courier fee would cancel the discount. Buy food locally and everything else here.

No script-only lines

Your vet stays your vet.

Anything that legally needs a veterinary prescription isn't on our shelves. We only stock what can be sold without one.

No card machine at all

We'd have to pass card fees on to you.

Orders and the membership itself are paid by EFT against an invoice. At cost price there's no margin to cover card fees.

Before you join.

Can I see prices before joining?

Yes. Every price on the site is public, and you only need to be a member to check out. Work out what you'd save on your own pets first.

Who delivers, and how long does it take?

SkyNet and The Courier Guy, anywhere in South Africa. We pack your order and the courier is booked the day your payment reflects.

Is my vet still involved?

For anything prescription-only, yes. We don't stock those lines at all. For routine tick, flea, worm, supplement and grooming products, you just stop paying the retail markup.

Why EFT and not card?

We sell at cost, so there's no margin to cover card fees. Orders and membership are both paid by EFT. We email you our banking details and a payment reference, and we activate your account as soon as the funds reflect.
